Brattle Principal Ryan Hledik will speak at the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) Grid Evolution Summit, which will be held July 29–August 1 in Washington, DC.

The event will gather industry stakeholders – including regulators, independent system operators, utilities, and academics – to determine how to modernize the electric sector.

Mr. Hledik will join a panel discussion on “Transportation Electrification: Smart Strategies to Manage New Electric Vehicle Loads.” The panel will highlight findings from SEPA’s latest transportation electrification research and focus on new opportunities to leverage electric vehicles as a grid asset through active and passive managed charging.
