The Brattle Group will host a dinner discussion event on electrification at the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Summer Policy Summit. The Brattle event will take place Monday, July 16 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The theme of the discussion, “Utility Investment in Electrification: Should Utilities Build Out Charging Infrastructure?” will discuss how electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure can be built out efficiently to accommodate the growing electrification of the transportation sector. It will also explore the roles of car manufacturers, utilities, and other stakeholders in the process.

The event will feature a panel discussion led by Britta Gross, Director of Advanced Vehicle Commercialization Policy at GM, and Philip Jones, Executive Director of the Alliance for Transportation Electrification. Brattle Principals Jürgen Weiss and William Zarakas will serve as a panelist and moderator, respectively.
