Ahmad Faruqui Discussed Energy Efficiency Progress over the Last Decade with Public Utilities Fortnightly

Brattle Principal Ahmad Faruqui recently sat down with Ralph Cavanagh of the Natural Resources Defense Council (NDRC) to discuss the process of energy efficiency in the last decade, in a dialogue that was recently published by Public Utilities Fortnightly.

Dr. Faruqui and Mr. Kavanagh, who are recognized as intellectual thought leaders in the industry of utility regulation and policy, discussed the progress that has been made on the road to an energy efficiency society and how much further we have to go. The Pacific Northwest has become a leader in energy efficiency investment over the past several decades, and California’s economy has seen much faster growth than it would have without the intense energy efficiency push.
