Brattle Principal Shaun Ledgerwood and Senior Associate John Tsoukalis will present at Energy Risk’s training event, “Trade Surveillance & Market Compliance for Energy Trading Organizations,” taking place February 21-22, 2018 in Houston, TX.

The event will review the current state of trade surveillance and market compliance, and discuss operation efficiencies and business insights.

Dr. Ledgerwood will present “How to Detect for Potential Manipulation.” He will provide an overview of manipulative and disruptive trading, and discuss the framework for analyzing market manipulation.

Mr. Tsoukalis will present “Trade Surveillance Implementation,” which will discuss trade surveillance for power trades, virtual bids, and FTRs. In addition, he will review trade surveillance of natural gas trades and financial swaps, and address if trade surveillance can improve profitability.
