Brattle Principal Renée Duplantis will speak at the Canadian Bar Association (CBA) Competition Law Fall Conference, to be held September 27-28 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.

The event will feature presentations from industry experts and thought leaders on Canadian competition law, recent court decisions, and competition policy in emerging industries.

Dr. Duplantis will speak on the panel “TREB, AMEX and the Future of Monopolization in Data-Driven Markets” on Thursday, September 27. The panel will discuss the Federal Court of Appeal’s decision, which found that the Toronto Real Estate Board abused its dominant position by restricting data access, and the questions that have arisen as a result of this decision.
