Brattle principal Andrew Abere and senior consultant Michelle Cleary recently co-authored an article in Perspectives in Antitrust, a publication of the Antitrust Law Section of the American Bar Association, on working with economic experts.
As expert economic testimony becomes increasingly important in antitrust cases, the sophisticated analyses that experts provide, such as econometric and statistical studies, make them essential members of a legal team. The article, “Be an Expert in Working with Economic Experts,” discusses the practical issues that can arise in these cases and advises on the most effective ways in which experts may be used.
